Respected within the industry, David has had an extensive career in the wine business, spanning a period of more than forty years of progressive and successful experience at all levels of the industry.
David acquired his earliest wine experience at a small, family-owned distributor in Charleston, South Carolina, leading to roles with Schieffelin & Somerset Company, Jackson Family Wines and Folio Fine Wine Partners.
David’s background allows him to bring a unique perspective and energy to NEWCO. As a visionary with a strong entrepreneurial spirit, David’s approach is rooted in developing a true understanding of the distinct character of a product. He strives to bring an element to the business, that for many of us, was one of the compelling reasons we entered the wine game in the first place, that is, fun and the enjoyment of discovering, and sharing wines with family and friends.
